JSBKT The Imperfectly Perfect Family of 5: Santa Claus is Comin' to Town

Two blogs in one day…..I promise I have a life :-) Monday mornings are relatively slow for me. I am waiting for the Fed Ex person to show up before I head out to the gym (it’s WAY too freezing outside to hit the trails this morning), my washer and dryer are taking care of the dirty clothes, and I decided that the house looks clean enough since I will be scrubbing it down Wednesday in preparation for my parents arrival. Yes as a matter of fact I am jumping up and down right now. Okay may not but, Millie and I have been doing the happy dance pretty much all morning :-)

I wanted to share some photos we took this weekend. The children had been begging to go see Santa. Last year we had the opportunity to visit Santa at Macy’s in New York City. It was pretty awesome! I don’t think anything can compare to that experience.

This year we took the kids to Bass Pro Shop to visit Santa. Don’t laugh! Remember we are in the south now. Life here revolves around fishing and hunting. Not exactly my cup of tea but I guess our fellow southerner friends would get a kick out of seeing Santa with a surf board in the back of a classic 1940’s Woody :-) Anyhow, this was our first time inside of a Bass Pro Shop and we were all pretty impressed. We spent most of our time in Santa’s Workshop. The kids (all 4) got to play video games and NO we will not be buying the hunting game where the object is to kill as many bucks as possible. How does that old saying go….. "You can take the girl out of Cali but you can’t take Cali out of the girl”
