Happy Birthday to My Jay

I am a terrible wife!! Yesterday was My Jay’s birthday and I didn’t make it on here at all to mark his special day. My intentions were there, I promise! I spent the entire rainy day sitting on the floor (in front on the fireplace) either working with my 10 year old on her Science Fair project or trying to craft some magic for the 100th day t-shirt celebration for my 6 year old. When I say the entire day, I am not exaggerating. I learned a valuable lesson yesterday, my knees and my back do not like to sit on the floor for extended periods of time without some type of support anymore. Is this some kind of a sign? =)

The good news…..The t-shirt is complete (WOO HOO) with a whole week to spare (WOO HOO) and the Science Fair project is just about complete. Today we get to work on the fun part. Today it’s all about creating, crafting, and more creating.

As for Trav, I promise that he didn’t get left out in the land of glitter and glue. Although he is becoming quite the budding artist, he had a boy’s day out yesterday and LOVED every single minute of it. Travin got to spend the afternoon with his best buddy watching live action WWE Smackdowns. Did I get that right? You all know how up to date I am with all of this boy stuff right? Okay so really I’m not! So you understand how grateful I am to our friends for taking my son out on an actual boy adventure for the day!

Okay I completely got off track on that one! What can I say, I love to share.

In honor of My Jay, because after all he is the BESTEST husband a girl could ever dream of having and I happen to be pretty excited to be the girl that gets to keep him for the rest of my life, I wanted to share just a few of my favorite pictures.

Our love is expressed in ordinary ways

like sharing a simple meal,

running errands with the kids in tow,

or cleaning up the house because my obsessive ways kick in

but I want you to know that there is nothing ordinary about our love
