The past 3 weeks have been completely AMAZING!!!!
I know that I have used that word A LOT lately but I truly have no other word to describe how I feel about our life right now.
We are together…complete…whole!!!
Life seriously doesn’t get any better than that. Nothing in this world can compare to being surrounded by the people you love the most.
This week is a little special (okay A LOT special) to me.
I mentioned that a few issues caused us to miss out on our summer family vacation to California. We were sad but I am a true believer in that old saying that “things happen for a reason”.
This summer we got the visit of a lifetime.
My parents were troopers and took on the Louisiana summer heat and humidity with full force (more so my dad than my mom [=). They deserve a shiny medal because it is a huge change from the predictability in sunny Southern California.
But…
One phone call from a certain special someone made my whole year!!!
My bestest…My sister…My friend
called to tell me that her and my brother (that would be her hubby) were making the trek from California all the way to Louisiana. They were going to make that dreaded drive through Texas in July just to visit US!!!
Amazing right?!?!
I know!! I’m the luckiest sister in the whole wide world!!!
Well of course we had to take them to the most beautiful street in the state of Louisiana.
