{Halloween Eve}

Our day started out rather "pintresting"

Find an eye catching recipe, pin it, modify if needed, and then create it.

Happy faces, full tummy's and a little extra family time before daddy heads northwest for a few weeks.

Today definitely qualifies as a “Lazy Sunday”

I think I kind of like days like today especially after a very
l---o---n---g
week!

There always has to be silver lining...right?!?!

Here are a few things that made me smile extra big last week.

His tooth finally fell out

(with a little help from a teacher at school)

My California born girl fits in quite well

as a "Southern Belle"

I <3 BOOTS!!!

I <3 them even more when I can say that
I got a pair of brand new super cute $100 boots
for the bargain price of
$10!!!

Last but certainly not least.
I am a little late on posting some pictures.
I promised a very special Grammy on the west coast that I would share.

Over the past couple of weeks Bryanna has been learning how to “Walk Like An Egyptian”. Okay not really but she has been learning all about the Egyptian culture. She has been working really hard on writing her own fictional essay. I just read her final draft and I must say, it’s definitely a page turner =)

As an added bonus,
she had the opportunity to construct her very own pyramid.

I’m sure you all know how much Bryanna loves art. So of course it was no surprise that her favorite topic combined the symbolic art of the Egyptian culture as well as the hieroglyphics that were used to communicate.

She is beyond excited to present her work to her classmates!

One final thought from me =)

Tomorrow is Halloween and I just so happened to find a virtual race to participate in. I have to admit, I am little excited!! I have had to put off racing due to weekend soccer games and now with Jason leaving, I will have to wait until Christmas to participate in any live events. I was a little bummed about missing out on the Halloween 5K but now that I found a virtual run to participate in, my spirits are feeling rather spooktacular!!

So here is the scoop on my new findings. Daily Vitamin F is hosting a few holiday virtual 5K's (all of which I will be participating in).

The First One:

halloween 5k

Run, walk, bike, or swim...whatever you want! As long as you complete 3.1 miles on Halloween Day! Take some pictures, share the experience, and maybe win a prize! Fun stuff right?!?!

That's it!

Happy Halloween Eve!
