Can you believe that 1 week from today we will be sitting around
the table counting our blessings before we get ready to carve into some
delicious turkey?!?!? I swear it was only yesterday that we were piecing
together Halloween outfits waiting anxiously for a night full of tricks and
treats!
Okay moving forward before I get too distracted...it is THURSDAY
after all.
I will admit I'm cheating but, only just a little bit.
I've been holding
onto these pictures all week partially because I wasn’t sure if we’d have an
{embrace} moment to share and then of course the week once again slipped right
past me. So I guess I’m smiling kinda big on the inside right now because I do
have something to share this week! (=
Last weekend Miss Kalyssa had her final soccer game of the fall
season, a little bitter sweet for my soccer girl. She was so excited about
finishing her first season of soccer but she was also very sad that the season
came to an end.
I asked her how she liked soccer and this was what she had to say:
I had the most fun time of my life but I really wish that the ball
wouldn’t find my face so much!
I met some really nice friends even though it was hard to play
when we had that one game against Amelia’s team (her bestest friend).
My coach is the nicest coach I’ve ever had. He always makes me
laugh and he makes soccer fun.
Mommy I really just want to play soccer again but you have to
promise me to get a soccer mom shirt to wear to my games. I think I will ask
Santa to bring you one!

My 4 year old has been playing three seasons, but finally got it and had so much fun this year. Love your daughter's comment about wishing the ball wouldn't find her face. Cute photos.
