In case you forgot, yesterday was a day that was all about tricks
and treats.
Before I share some of my favorite pictures of the year, I
want to recap the highlights from my Halloween Virtual Race that was hosted by
Daily Vitamin F.
First, I'm totally and completely lame because I didn’t realize (rather I
forgot) that my printer was out of ink. So, I didn’t get to print out my cute
Halloween bib :( But, if I had remembered to buy ink over the weekend, this is
what I would have worn.
I even took the time to add my name and everything!
{Sigh} It would have been super cute with my fabulously cool
Halloween socks and my ever so AWESOME CAPE!!!
As a matter of fact,
YES I DID!!!
I absolutely hit the trail this morning in my Halloween
costume!!!
And in case you were wondering,
the cape completely helped with my time.
Okay not really but
it was worth a shot.
I ran a little over the qualifying 3.1 mile marker (the cape
made me do it). Actually the weather was absolutely gorgeous outside and after
sitting at the table for 3 l--o--n--g hours taking a practice test, my mind and body were both
ready to let off a little steam.
My final time for the Virtual Halloween 5K

Okay now on to the BEST pictures of the year!!!
This Halloween was a little different than our usual. First
and foremost, the girls decided to get very creative with their costumes. They
wanted to create their own styles this year.
Bryanna decided early on that she wanted to take last year’s
piece and make it all her own. She added a few pieces here and there and took a
little from this and that and ended up with this:
Miss Kalyssa who just so happens to LOVE Fancy Nancy decided
to open up one of her favorite books, pick a random page, and copy the costume.
She even did the shopping all by herself!
Travin’s main focus this year: “What kind of sword does it come with and how big is it?”
As for mommy & daddy, we keep the peace up in this place!
