Embrace the Camera ~ Embrace a Veteran

In honor of Veteran’s Day, I decided to take today’s session of Embrace the Camera and dedicate it to my husband. Jason has been an active duty member of the United States Air Force for almost 12 years. I am proud of the person he has become in the past 12 years. He has accomplished so much for himself and for our family. We pride ourselves on being a military family. The military way of life isn't always easy, but just like any other family out there, we learn to make the best with what we have.

I was the first person to hear of Jason’s decision to join the military. I was with him when he took his oath of enlistment. I am proud to stand by his side each and every day as he makes his way through 20 years of service to our country.

Thank you to each and every service member past and present! Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed!

Happy Veteran's Day!!

P.S. I had to add a couple of extra pictures. Today is Veteran's Day and we are very fortunate to be surrounded by so many of our loved ones who serve or have served to defend our great nation.

Jason with his best friend Erik who is currently serving in the Army

Jason with two of our brother-in-laws David (white shirt) and Brian (grey shirt) TYPICAL Jarheads (te he) just kidding I am very proud of both my brother's (I think this was Brian's introduction into our crazy family ~ he looks a little nervous :-)
