100 in 2011

I have been inspired to start a new challenge…..I found this great little reading blog that is challenging bloggers and non-bloggers to read 100 books in 2011. I have never kept track of the number of books I have read in a full calendar year. Here’s my take on the situation. I love to read and I have this amazing little tool called Shannon's Kindle by my side that allows me to browse through as many books as I want so, why not put myself to the test.


So on top of getting myself in tip top shape before My Jay makes his way back home, studying to get into the Master’s program, and being a single parent to three crazy kids for the next few months, I’m taking on this clever little reading challenge too.

If only I could add all of the children's books I read  =) My 100 in 2011 challenge would be complete in a matter of a couple weeks.

    What if you read a book 2 or 3 times? I LOVED...LOVED...LOVED Eat, Pray, Love and I'm telling you, I can't wait to get it back from storage when this whole crazy life of mine is back to normal...

    I completely thought about doing that one too - but I wasn't sure what my schedule would really be like with school. Good Luck!!!

    A friend recommended A Dog's Life to me about a year ago... said it was really interesting for such a quick read, and I never got around to it. If I didn't read 650 freakin kid's books, I'd be a lot more caught up on my reading too :-P
