Embrace the Camera: January 27th

I think I’ve mentioned a time or two just how much we love Sunday’s around here. Sunday is our big Daddy countdown celebration. Things can get pretty crazy with all of the excitement that fills the air inside our house. This past weekend things got a little wilder with the addition of Bryanna’s religious education classes. Instead of having an additional day to just lounge around in our jammy’s, we have to set our alarm, move through breakfast, brush our teeth, and get dressed just like a regular school day.

On our way to church, the kids and I decided to plan our day. The past couple of weekends were spent cooped up inside the house. Between the cold weather and the ever so famous science fair project, we didn’t really make it too far from the house. I thought that it would be a nice treat for all of us if we just spent the day together outside of the house. The weather was nice, everyone was in good spirits, and did I mention that it was SUNDAY?!?!

After a few differences in opinions, the kids finally agreed on a place for lunch. I had a little surprise up my sleeve but of course I couldn’t exactly share that information =) After church we tried a new deli out for lunch. The place was a huge hit due to the fact that everyone got FREE ice cream. On the way home we made a little side trip. Here are some of the shots we got on our Sunday outing. I let the kids choose what pose they each wanted me to do with them.

 

Needless to say, the little surprise I had stashed up my sleeve was a colossal success!! I was informed on the way home that we should celebrate every Sunday just like that because it was a perfect day!!
