Bry presented “One Big Mess” last Friday. She prepared her speech and practiced on her audience at home. By Thursday night, she was ready to get the show on the road. She was confident in her work and herself. I have to say, as a parent, there really is no better feeling. I wasn’t able to sit in on the actual presentation. One parent tends to lead to too many parents and unfortunately, there just isn’t enough room for all of us. It’s probably a good thing that I didn’t sit in the classroom because after all, parents sometimes have a way of making their kids feel more nervous than they should. The school will be hosting a Science/Social Studies Fair at the end of this week. The students will have an opportunity to share their projects while they are on display.
I just have to mention that as I watched this video the other night, my heart was filled of pride. I’m sure you have guessed that I was in tears as I watched my daughter present her project. She worked so hard on everything. She truly put her heart into her work.
When she first came up with the idea, I thought to myself “okay not something I would go with but it’s her project so let’s see what happens.” Towards the end of the project, I started to feel bad for her. The project just didn’t seem to be going anywhere. But then, the first question was asked. She asked me what was meant by the purpose. The questions were set up a little different than what she was used to. After a good discussion and a little research, her project literally came to life. It was amazing!!
She definitely proved me wrong on this one =)
She is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
But SERIOUSLY, could we slow down just a little on the growing up factor? I don’t know how much more this mom can take at the moment!!!

Wonderful job Bryanna! And she gave some props to mom too. I can't believe this is the little tiny baby I last saw in NC....
