{Embrace the Camera: A Wee Bit O' Hat}

It wouldn’t quite be a holiday in this house if we didn’t have to brainstorm and work some magic to create something spectacular. Okay maybe not spectacular but we do our best to create one of a kind creations to send in to school. Kindergarten and first grade art projects keep me pretty busy these days. Since moving here, I have spent more time browsing the clearance aisles at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby than I care to admit. I think at this point, I’m entitled to a rewards program or possibly even some shares in company stocks =)

For St. Patty’s Day, Miss Miss had to create some type of a festive hat. The whole first grade wing will be participating in a Saint Patrick’s Day hat contest.

Where to start...

Newspaper....Glue....Masking Tape

Add some green paint

Add flowers, stickers, a pot of gold, and a leprechaun of course.

And I think we just might have ourselves a wee bit o' hat!

I wanted to share one of my Grandma's favorite Irish Blessings.

May your troubles be less,

And your blessing be more.

And nothing but happiness,

Come through your door.

She was always so proud of her Irish heritage.

She would always quote these words
"If your lucky enough to be Irish, your lucky enough!"
and then she would laugh.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!!
