It's Friday! You know what that means right?? It’s time to answer some questions and then link up with Wife of a Sailor.
This week’s questions are:
1. Do you or your {spouse} ever wish your {spouse} was in a different branch of the military? submitted by The Turner Family
Not at all. I think every branch has its advantages and disadvantages but I am very happy with the life that the Air Force has provided for us. I have been able to stay at home with my kids. I was able to complete my degree. I feel blessed that we have as much time together as we do. We are a very lucky family!
2. What duty station(s) are on your “No Way, Hell No, Not Going, Have Fun Unaccompanied” list and why? submitted by Every Branch
If it’s cold, I don’t want to go =) I learned my lesson on moving. I just enjoy what I have while I have it. If I don’t like it, I just tell myself it’s not a forever thing and then we take a permanent marker and scratch it off of our retirement list with big black X’s.
3. If you could be one age forever, what age would you choose and why? submitted by Three Krakens
That's a tough ? Maybe 30. I loved turning 30. I took charge of myself and finally decided to do things for myself and to better myself. Something happened to me as I approached my 30th birthday, all of the sudden I wanted to live a life that I created. I didn’t want life to just pass me by. I loved my life before then but I knew that there was so much in this world that I wanted to discover. There is so much to do, so much to learn, and so much to see. This is how I want to spend the rest of my life, exploring the world around me and trying new things. Taking a chance and going for it. The best part is that I get to teach my kids to live their lives this way so that hopefully when they get older, they will have a more positive outlook on life and they in turn will take chances and discover the world around them.
4. If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be? submitted by the C.W.
Hmm...Maybe Golden Grahams “I’m not just good, I’m golden” =)’
5. What is your morning beverage of choice and why? submitted by NH Girl Displaced
COFFEE with creamer, creamer, and more creamer =) There are morning's where I only manage to get a half a cup in and other mornings where I will gladly drink a full pot by myself. I love me some coffee. It warms me up and just makes me feel like my day can only get better.
Oh and don't forget to link up at The Lily Pad to meet other super cool military spouses!

I have five more years until 30! I hope I love it like you do :) New follower now! http://sahmandusmcwife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower from the fill-in. Your answer about the perfect age was inspiring. I will turn 30 this fall, and it makes me anxious. But I think that it could be a great age. I hope I feel the way you did.
ReplyDeleteI cannot survive without coffee right now. And I love flavored creamers.
Have a great weekend!
We figured the best way to see the country (and maybe the world) was to take orders to somewhere really different each time but it didn't quite happen that way! The Navy pretty much kept us on the East Coast, apart from a tour in Great Lakes, Illinois, but I'm hopeful that there will be some new and hopefully exotic locations in our future.
