Happy Good Friday Y'All!!
It's time to link up with Wife of a Sailor and share a few more secrets.
1. How many pets do you have? And what type? submitted by Life and Times of a Displaced Jersey Girl
10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MILLIE...
1. Millie is our 4th child
2. In case you were wondering, Millie is part pit bull (and NO that doesn't make us bad parents)
3. Millie loves our kids more than anything else on this planet
4. Millie can’t decide if she is my dog or Jason’s dog
5. Millie waits patiently for Jason’s alarm to go off every morning so that she can sneak into bed with me
6. Millie is afraid of cats
7. Millie will jump in the tub if you mention the word bath
8. Millie loves to wear her dress (collar)
9. Millie always knows how to comfort me when I am sad or sick
10. Millie thinks she is a lap dog
2. What are your favorite projects to do while hubby is away? submitted by my-inspired-nest
I can’t say that I have found any favorite projects to do while he is away. I’ve learned to do things on my own. I’ve learned to tackle new avenues and to not be intimidated by big projects. I think I have gotten quite a bit done (hence yesterdays painting project post). My Jay probably wouldn’t find this so funny but my “hunny” do list has grown since he has been gone however, the list is constantly changing because I am learning that I can make improvements and fix things too =]
3. What are the must-haves in your deployment care packages? submitted by Christine’s Little Blog
Every box that goes out has something from the kids (letters, pictures, art projects, etc). All of our boxes are different. I try to make sure that My Jay has a little piece of home with him in every box that he gets.
4. If you could star in any TV show, which would it be? submitted by Just a Girl
I’m probably going to sound completely lame on this one but I love HGTV and the DIY Network. There are so many shows that I would love to be on.
My first choice right now would be outdoor HELP!!! The one downside to buying brand new construction is that there is little or no landscaping at all. Yes we get to do whatever we want however, it is VERY expensive to get those projects started.
So Mr. Ahmed Hassan if you read this, you can come crash my yard any day of the week!!!
5. What was the biggest hurdle that you faced during your/your significant other’s first deployment? submitted by The Pavlik Perspective
The hardest things to face are all the little moments that daddy has to miss. We have been so fortunate to be able to share everything with our children since they were born. It’s hard to stand among a crowd as a single parent and watch your children receive recognition. It hard to know that daddy is missing special moments, monumental moments, moments that mean the world to him.
This weeks super cool MilSpouse host can be found over at Many Waters.
Happy Easter Weekend!!!

I'm a big House Hunters fan. I think my children may enjoy watching it as well. They are always trying to pick which house the people will choose.
ReplyDeleteMillie looks like she's smiling in every picture. How cute!

Send Mr. Hassan over here when he's done with you! After 5 years and currently undergoing our 3rd redo of the landscaping we are still struggling to find the perfect balance of "low maintenance" and "pretty"!
