I’ve been on a cleaning craze this past week in hopes that My Jay will make his way back home to us. The only way to keep myself completely entertained (and the children of course) is to put the I-pod on full blast and dance the days away.
So the other day, we were all cleaning (really me more than them) and this song happen to come on. The kids had to laugh because whenever this song comes on Daddy always turns it up and sings it to me (full facial actions and animated voice included). Not sure why, other than the fact that it was a popular song when we were dating and of course I have ALWAYS loved me some Tim McGraw!!!
Now every time we hear it, we have to turn it up in honor of Daddy.
So, what exactly is your song as we bid farewell to June 2011?
This is one of my favorite Tim McGraw songs! It brings back great memories of me riding shotgun in my Dad's truck listening him sing this song, Achey Breaky Heart, and Devil Went Down To Georgia to me! :)

ReplyDeletedoes he wear the buffalo briefs when he sings to you? a truly scarey visual etched in my head. and truth be known, he IS about 1/32 cherokee.
