Not too long ago, Sunday was viewed as being the BEST day of the week.
(In case you forgot, Sunday was our countdown/celebration day)
Circumstances being as they are, we had to switch our days around a little.
Today, we are back to having a Sunday celebration session.
BUT,
today is a little different.
Why?
Well, simply because this is literally the last Sunday we will be without our missing link. By next Sunday we will be complete again! We will be back to that wonderful family of 5 living under the same roof. We will all sit together to eat our meals at the same dining room table! We will all cuddle together in the same living room on family movie night!
So,
instead of just celebrating today,
we will celebrate a little EVERYDAY
until that special guy of ours makes his way off of that plane.
We are SO ready to welcome him home!
We are SO ready to hug him tight!
We are SO ready to smother him with kisses!
We are SO ready to have him home standing, sitting, or lying next to us everyday!
~ Final Preparations ~
Because...
The ONLY Chain Left To Rip Off Is...
Daddy's Chain!!!
Daddy's Chain!!!
There is something that I would like to say before the craziness of this week consumes my energy…
For all of our family and friends who have kept our family of 5 in your thoughts, in your prayers, and close to your heart,
for those who brought us dinner or suggested a night out,
for those who helped us laugh and let us cry,
for those who watched my children (including my 4 legged favorite kid) or took my children out for a special treat,
for those who let my children give them extra hugs and sometimes even kisses,
for those who checked on us through texts messages, emails, phone calls, or Facebook,
for those who sent me encouraging words, sweet messages, and simple hello’s,
for those who sent packages and letters to our favorite guy in the whole wide world,
for all of you,
for all that you have done,
We Thank You...I Thank You!
You made life that much easier for all of us!
You helped to keep our minds from drifting to the sadness and focused on the happiness!
All of you helped me get through this deployment which in turn helped me get my children through one of the hardest phases in their lives.
Thank you to all of you!
IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!

I am very excited for you guys!!
