It's time to {embrace}
As you probably already know, Natchitoches is my absolute favorite
city in Louisiana. I can always find a reason to make the drive, especially
during the holiday season.
Our “pre-Christmas” getaway down south was a little extra special
this year all because of one extraordinary couple.
Yesterday my parents celebrated their 24th
wedding anniversary!!!
We were lucky enough
to be able to spend the whole day with them.
For the past 24 years I have been able to watch my parents grow
with each other. I watched as they faced the good times and the not so good times.
There are many things that I treasure about the relationship my parents have together
but the moments I hold close to my heart are the ones where I get to witness
the companionship of two best friends and the love that forms between
two soul mates.
