{Goodbye 2011}

Out with the old...In with the new!

Goodbye 2011!

Last year at this time, our family was separated by thousands of miles and different time zones. Our new year felt glum without Jason being home but we held on tight to the anticipation of his homecoming!

It’s actually a little hard to believe that 2011 is almost over! I can say without a doubt that this past year has taught me some extremely valuable lessons. I have faced my share of disappointments but I have also prevailed against all odds. I feel blessed for the life and the people who have been brought to me!

Before I bid farewell to a year that had me experiencing more emotions than I ever thought capable of feeling, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite moments.

Our 1st snow in Louisiana

Our 1st Mardi Gras Parade

Our 1st trip to New Orleans
