I think you all know that Jason and I don’t celebrate VD. We
spend more time making preparations for the kids and their classrooms than
anything else.
Example #1
Creating 35 “ice cream” cupcakes inspired by pinterest that completely
frustrated the heck out of this mom and a daddy who made a last minute errand
late last night just so his kids would have heart shaped donuts in class this
morning.
It’s a good thing those smiles were bright today =)
This year we have an ice cream social and a pizza party to
attend. Elementary school is so simple. Let me explain what happens when your
child moves onto middle school...BOYFRIENDS APPEAR!!!
The joy of Valentine’s Day has hit a whole new level of excitement
in our house this year. We spent our Sunday finding that one perfect gift and the
anticipation of what’s to come today is just a little bit too much for this
mama to handle. Of course the huge smile and the skipping out the door this
morning didn’t help either!!!
I’m sure there will be pictures galore this afternoon so
check back with us to see how our day unfolds.
Anyhow, in honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d share a
picture of the new love in my life.
Have I mentioned lately how A-M-A-Z-I-N-G my Jay is?!?!?! In
case you forgot, let me take a moment to remind you by saying that he is pretty
fantabulous!!!! Not only did he buy this beautiful "PRIZE" that is equipped
with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING just for me but he carried it (mostly by himself because I
carried the light end) and he put it together ALL BY HIMSELF just so I could use it ASAP!!! I know I'm a pretty spoiled girl =)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!!
In less than two weeks we will be celebrating our 13th
wedding anniversary!!! Pretty AWESOME if you were to ask me! This year is a very
special year for us. We have so much to look forward to and possibly a few
changes to embrace. Besides, it is Lucky 13 for us this year!!!
Now on to the true loves of my life!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Whew! I thought we were the only people who didn't celebrate valentines day! And if it helps at all - this momma is not looking forward to the appearance of girlfriends! It probably doesn't though...
