Thursday has sprung upon me once again and guess what?
I’m not ready!
I can however share a picture of two of my favorites. A day without uniforms ALWAYS puts a big smile on these two cute faces!
The past couple of weeks have been full of midterms, lesson
plans, project building, oh and did I mention that I will be put in front of
the camera this morning??? I am beyond nervous about this whole teaching in front of
the camera business so any extra positive vibes would be greatly appreciated =)
This week things kicked into high gear. Trav started
his first season of soccer and he absolutely LOVES IT!!! After his first
practice, he came home and crashed. BONUS for mom and dad! I’m a little sad
that he didn’t want to play baseball this season but after his last coach, we
both understood why he wanted to try something new. We have about a month of
practices ahead of us before he heads out onto the field for his first game.
I don’t have any special {embrace} pictures to share this
week. However I did get full permission to share something from this pretty face!
I don’t know
if you know just how much Bryanna loves poetry but ever since she was in 2nd grade, she has loved Shel Silverstein. She has always been that kid who stashes
books under her pillow at night or has a pile on her nightstand. No matter what
books are in or around her bed, you can always count on finding one of Shel
Silversteins books near her head.
Over the past couple of weeks she has been working on a really big
poetry project for her honors literature class. This assignment was pretty
intense. There was A LOT of work that went into it. She had to piece a lot of
different things together. One of the pieces that she had to create was her
very own poetry book. I have to share a little secret. When she brought me the
final copy last night, I cried. Her work is so beautiful!!! I asked her if I
could share it on our family blog and she said yes.
This week we are {embracing} special words written by Bryanna!
This is my first attempt at using Google Docs so, hopefully it will open up for everyone to read.

Absolutely LOVED Bry's poetry. She is wonderful. Thank you for sharing......
