What's on Shan's Phone

This is a new link up for me. Although I think its super clever and I have seen a lot of interesting pictures, this is probably the only time you will ever see me link up with Tuesday’s session of What’s on My Phone.

First, let me just say that I am horrible at taking pictures with my phone. Half the time I forget that my phone has a super impressive camera. I was so accustomed to having the not so smart first generation crackberry for so long that now that I have my super smarter than me phone, I get a little intimidated and don’t use it as much as I probably should. And then there is that problem of not remembering that it really does have a super impressive camera.

Anyhow, these pictures aren’t all that fun and crafty (I’ve seen some pretty great ones out there) but I am posting them because I FINALLY can. After Jason deployed, the kids really wanted to make him a Build-a-Bear. They wanted to find a special bear just for daddy. One that had a special message that daddy could listen to whenever he missed his kids.

Our first family date was a trip to Build-a-Bear Workshop. We all had a chance to put a special touch on daddy’s bear. Lucky aka Daddy's Bear has 4 hearts inside of his chest. Each one got its own kiss, a warm thought, and a special message.

So Daddy, now that you have your “Lucky” bear with you, you can see just how much love went into putting him together. We love and miss you so much. Remember that every time you hold him tight, the four of us are hugging you back!!
