{My Favorite Characters}

This morning I was greeted by a little ray of “SONshine”. I opened my eyes and all I could see were two big brown eyes staring right back at me. I heard a little giggle and then my son whispered “Mommy guess what? Today I get to be king of all the wild things just like Max.”

We rolled out of bed and tiptoed into the girls bedrooms. The King of All Wild Things led the way as we slithered our way under the blankets to find some toes to tickle. Ladybug Girl jumped up laughing but don’t be alarmed because after all, Ladybug Girl isn’t afraid of anything. Olivia stirred not wanting to move but, it wasn’t too long before the wild rumpus of 3 wild things began. Luckily for mom, the sounds and smell of breakfast led the wild thing crew into the kitchen in less than a year and way before the night and day was through. 

The kids have been waiting ever so patiently to be able to wear their homemade recycled creations. We are a few days behind schedule due to all of the crazy winter weather we have been experiencing but, Dress-Up Like Your Favorite Book Character Day finally arrived!!!

 

 

 

This was by far one of the greatest projects we have ever done together. The kids and I spent time going through our big craft box. We browsed closets and dresser drawers until we found exactly what we needed. With a little cutting and A LOT of hot glue, B, K, & T sure made a lasting impression with their unique creations as they walked the halls of their school this morning.
