{Hope in Every Step...Virtual Race}

Okay family and friends, I desperately need your help!!!

Labor Day Weekend, I will be participating in a charity running event that will benefit the A-T Children’s Project. Ataxia-telangiectasia, or A-T, is a rare genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a high rate of cancer. A-T affects a large variety of systems in the body, causing symptoms that affect health and daily living.

In an effort to support the A-T project, I am hosting my first ever virtual race.

What is a virtual race you ask?  A virtual race is an event coordinated online where participants complete their miles on their own.  It's a great way for people to connect their love of running or race walking with a cause they support. As a part of the Hope In Every Step virtual race, all participants will receive a one of kind die cast medal.

How Can You Help?

WHEN: August 24-31, 2013

WHERE: Pick your favorite local route or jump on the treadmill.

WHY: Kids... Hope... Cure

I am beyond excited to be a part of a project that is raising money to find a cure for children living with A-T. While many of these children will never run and participate in events such as these, we can!!!
